A World Heritage site on the former workshops built and occupied at the time by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the Great Western Railway project in Swindon received planning consent for 124 apartments with parking, commercial and retail units under. With site constraints such as an existing traverser pit, listed walls both being retained which formed part of the new buildings envelope, the site posed many challenges to be accommodated into the design. Following consultation with Thomas Homes, HP were appointed for this landmark site, with a brief to provide a detailed design package of technical working drawings and specifications. 

The scheme went on to achieve Silver at the WhatHouse Awards 2016, and LABC National Award for best high volume housing development.
